Susan Micallef: Freelance Graphic Designer
Susan is a freelance graphic designer with a studio located just north of San Diego, California. She specializes in design, project management, and production of printed material. With a wide range of skills and experience, she provides quality design for companies and individuals at reasonable rates.
If you have a new business, Susan can design your company image from the ground up. She can create your logo, business card, in-house forms, vehicle graphics, and any additional materials needed to get your company noticed.
If you have an established business and are looking to show off a new product or update an existing design, she can create items such as catalogs, brochures or trade show materials. Or, if it's time to update your company image, she can rejuvenate your logo and design some new life into your current materials.
If you have a print shop or mail house and just need occasional piecework, Susan would like to tackle those projects as well. She understands the importance of deadlines and the cycle of production, and can offer relief when things get busy or unexpected projects pop up. She can take on small projects like touching up photos, or entire projects that include direct communication with your customer.
To hire Susan for your next project, contact her to discuss your ideas & goals. Put her years of professional design experience to work for you!

Birth of a Catalog
I recently finished the design & production of a 224-page, full-color product catalog. To successfully complete a project of this nature, good organization and realistic goals are essential. During the design process, I was asked "How do you keep everything straight?" and "Where do you start?". To answer these questions & others, I've decided to share my process. Over the next few weeks, I will be putting together an informative timeline that will show the creative process, from conception to completion. If you have any questions you'd like to see addressed in the timeline, drop me a line.
